While Paladin’s focus in Malawi during the past year has been the successful completion of construction and commissioning ramp-up of Kayelekera Mine, the Company has also made solid progress in the continued strengthening of its relationship with the local community and in fulfilling its Social Responsibility objectives. Paladin’s Social Responsibility Programme works to address needs in four key areas: Health Issues, Food Production, Education and Business Development.
